The birthplace of the writer Alexandros Papadiamantis is the busiest island of the Sporades island group and is famous for the incredible beaches with lush pines that almost touch the sea and the very “lively” nightlife.

The beaches that are the crown jewels of the island, with the world famous being Koukounaries beach, Lalaria, Agia Paraskevi, Banana, Mandraki, Aselinos, Agia Eleni, Agistros, the Port of Xerxes, the beach of Vromolimnos. As beautiful are the beaches of the small islands around Skiathos Tsougrias, Arkos.

Finally, do not forget to swim in the Dome , with the characteristic island that resembles, of course, a dome, and visit the Castle, located below the medieval town of Skiathos.
