This is the beach of Agia Paraskevi. It is a large beach, in the same bay with Vromolimnos and Kolios, 8.5 km south west of the city of Skiathos and is named after the small church of the same name which is located there. Small, stone church with a large courtyard, it is located in the Agia Paraskevi settlement, right at bus stop 15. Every year on the 27th of July, in the courtyard of the church, there is a big celebration with dances, a lot of food and local wine. If you are in Skiathos that day, do not miss it!

The picturesque valley of Platanias has a stream that flows almost all year round. In the area of ​​the beach and in the village of Platanias there are taverns, cafes, grill restaurants and mini markets.

The beach has a long stretch of fine sand and clear waters. It is well organized and offers a water sports school and boat rentals. The beach of Agia Paraskevi has been awarded the Blue Flag for its services to visitors, its good organization and the purity of its waters.

For those who love hiking, there is an alley that is initially paved, and then continues as a dirt road to the monastery and the beach of Kechria.

The journey is about 1.5-2 hours.
